Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point is a nationally certified Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.

The Team Approach
Stroke teams are available at both hospitals are available 24 hours a day through their Emergency Care Center.
The team approach extends beyond the hospital walls to include Pasco and Hernando Counties - County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel. Fire/EMS works the hospitals emergency stroke team, ensuring that life-saving measures are provided to patients at the scene in the first few minutes of a stroke.
