The Team Approach

Stroke teams are available at both hospitals are available  24 hours a day through their Emergency Care Center.

The team approach extends beyond the hospital walls to include Pasco and Hernando Counties - County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel. Fire/EMS works the hospital’s emergency stroke team, ensuring that life-saving measures are provided to patients at the scene in the first few minutes of a stroke.
